t Wild Boar we offer a dedicated nationwide service to anyone who desires a building that is bespoke, be it either an Oak frame or bricks and mortar.

Wild Boar was formed April 2004 by Nigel and Kate Laskey predominantly to provide a service to self-builders offering anything from advice or complete build packages. Through this service we were asked to source a number of oak framed buildings for our clients. We soon realised there was a demand for this type of building and as Nigel is a time served carpenter, we felt we could offer a bespoke service in green oak to clients who require this type of building. Over the past few years this side of the business has become ever more popular and now we find ourselves in a position where 80% of our work is now with green oak, but we still continue to carry on with our general building side of the business, running along side of the oak framing.  We are members of the Men of The Stones which is an organisation that aims to stimulate public interest in architecture and good buildings of all period and kinds with particular reference to stone as a natural medium for construction and decorative purposes.  We have recently been invited to joint the V.A.G.(Vernacular Architecture Group) which is an international organisation for all those interested in lesser traditional buildings.
