We have just had a fantastic four days at Burghley, meeting some lovely people from all over the Country Met a great landscape gardener from Ireland and a lovely gentleman from France who asked if we would be prepared to go over there and do some work. I am sure the lads would like that. We always feel like we are on a high when we are at Burghley as it is a real holiday astmosphere with the other traders. We were on site for about 7am and leaving about 7pm but the hours just flew by. We have all put on a few pounds trying all the lovely food that is available including some lovely pies from Limetree Pantry at Newark (beef and Guiness.mmmmm) and some lovely vegetarian Scotch eggs from the Scotch Egg company.
We have now finished at Woodhall Spa and the clients are very pleased with the work. We have a few days left at Fiskerton. We are progressing with the brickwork at Stixwould and Stuart and Neil are up to first floor. We have encountered a wasps nest and this will have to be removed by the Council before we can go any further. Works at Gamlingay have now progressed to the roof. The lads are getting ready for their week away at Slaidburd where they are working on a listed barn with very ornate trusses.
Nigel is busy, as we speak, pricing for a huge development near Lincoln and Boston.
See you soon.
